SCHOLES: "SNEIJDER IS MY HEIR."

United continue hunting the Dutch of Inter.

Even the old glory of Ferguson focuses on Wesley.

Manchester - The role-play staged by Manchester United in the managing the deal for Sneijder is perfect.  Utd coach, Alex Ferguson, said: "Sneijder is a great player but we're not negotiating."  The chief executive, David Gill, assures: "To complement our transfer market, we need the last piece of the puzzle and I will talk with Ferguson."  Now here comes the latest voice to give his opinion on the situation: "Sneijder is a talent," said Paul Scholes.  "He has done very well in recent reasons, with Inter and with the Netherlands.  I did not think that he could express himself at this level away from Madrid but he has proven to be a champion.  He is my best possible replacement."

Backstage Perfect.  But you go back to square one: what will happen with Sneijder?  Here, prominence was given to the words of the Dutchman ("The Super Cup could be the last with the Inter shirt") but also those of Gasperini ("Sneijder is training with us and he'll play for us in Beijing").  In Manchester, however, they know very well there is a problem for Sneijder.  And it is the will of Inter to sell the player for budgetary reasons and it is also clear that the Dutchman is uncomfortable as he was forced to play as a central midfielder instead of a trequartista.  United are looking for a player with those features of Sneijder.  Nasri was the first idea then City intervened.  So United are now focusing on Sneijder."

Salary One other problem is the salary of Sneijder.  It is too high for the parameters of United as he also wants to beat Rooney.  Ferguson has asked Sneijder to reduce his claims but the Dutch did not notice.  Money, like always.

TEVEZ IS NOT COMING BACK BUT COSTS TOO MUCH

The Argentinian is still on vacation at his home.

Tevez wants Inter but...

Manchester - From just words to now fact: Carlitos Tevez is not coming back to Manchester.  The Argentinian was supposed to show this morning in Carrington for his first training session after the holidays but his vacation has been extended yesterday.  So he will remain at his home in Argentina.  After the words on July 4 in which Tevez said: "I can not bear longer the separation from my family back in Argentina because in England, I have not been happy."  To justify for this delay, it was explained that Tevez would only show up today "if there is a need" but Aguero, another player who participated at the Copa America, has trained for Manchester for a week.  The signal is clear: Tevez does not want to return to Manchester.

The scenarios Tevez is trusted greatly by Mansour, the owner of the club.  He has one weakness for Argentinian: "I consider Tevez one of the best players in the world.  I would not sell him but if he asks to leave then I would no imprison him."  Tevez will not be a prisoner of the sheiks but his card is around 45 million euros and he is making 10 million per season.  Only Real Madrid and Chelsea can spend these figures but he wants Inter.  We must find the formula to make the deal viable.  It may be a loan payment but the Argentine and his agent, Kia Joorabchian, want a definitive sale.
