Lazio Director: "Zarate? We'll See"

Posted by SacT0wn on May 1, 2012 at 4:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Speaking to the microphones of Radio Manà Manà, Lazio director Igli Tare spoke about the future of Mauro Zarate who is currently on loan at Inter with right to purchase when it expires.  When that happens, if Inter decided to sign him permanently, they would have to pay roughly 16 million euros.  “At the present, this figure is not negotiable but soon there will be a meeting with Inter to better understand his future and then we will see.”

Offer For Lavezzi: 15 Million + Pandev + Obi

Posted by SacT0wn on April 27, 2012 at 11:40 PM Comments comments (3)

INTER AND TWO TARGETS: IL POCHO AND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Offer to Napoli: Pandev, 15 million, Obi or Faraoni.

But De Laurentiis is hanging on to the release clause of 30 million.

Meanwhile, Inter president promotes Stramaccioni: "Only think about him in the future.  Leonardo? Maybe."

LAVEZZI-INTER: HERE'S THE OFFER

15 million, Pandev and Obi or Faraoni.  Napoli to hang on to the clause.

New temptation: Moratti wants to pursue the good relationship with De Laurentiis.

Milan - Inter have officially asked Napoli for Lavezzi.  And they have also made a proposal to secure the Argentinian in July.  In addition to an economic base of around 15 million euros, the Nerazzurri are also ready to put on the plate Goran Pandev (currently on loan at Napoli) and one of a younger player between Faraoni and Obi.  With this package, Massimo Moratti's club will even out the clause of 30 million and 800 thousand euros set two seasons ago between the striker, his agent Mazzoni and president Aurelio De Laurentiis at the time of the extension until 2015.

The response To Napoli, this solution is not satisfactory.  And it is easy to understand why because the striker is extremely important to Napoli and therefore they only want the best conditions to let the player go.  But the dialogue is just at the beginning.  And with the league is at the final stage as well as a Champions League spot is still up for grabs, it is logical to assume that the two clubs would prefer to return to this topic at a later date.

The contact Moreover, the relationship between the two clubs are excellent.  Especially that between the two presidents.  The proof of this is Napoli president's words during last summer when the two clubs were engaged in talks for Goran Pandev: "Moratti is a great gentleman, we closed this deal in an hour."  The Azzurri boss has also repeated it several times in other occasions.  Surely, the two heard from each other for Lavezzi in late August of last year before Inter took off for Zarate.  Inter then offered 15 million plus Pandev it was all in vain.  It's no secret that Moratti admires Lavezzi: "He is a great player and I would take him immediately."

The opening And to complete the picture here is the recent statement made by De Laurentiis on Ezequiel: "Cavani is a great kid and will stay here just like those what want to stay here.  Il Pocho is in my heart but if he believes that this is not his home, then we will let him go."  It should be said that Napoli are ready to revise his contract but with the famous clause removed.

The project The future of Lavezzi will be designed to coincide with that of Walter Mazzarri.  Napoli after this season will make important choices for the coach who is only under contract for one more season.  President De Laurentiis and the coach from San Vincenzo, unlike a year ago, will manage this situation together but with diplomacy.  And now Inter are pressing for Pocho as well as other strong competitors.  In Italy and (especially) abroad, Lavezzi is greatly appreciated.

Moratti, The Man With A Plan?

MORATTI BETWEEN TWO IDEAS

BENCH FOR STRAMA, DESK FOR LEONARDO

The president: "Bravo coach, is his confirmation (for next year) linked to the third spot? That's one way to look at it..."

France is certain: the Brazilian wants the Nerazzurri.

Milan - Before we begin, let's look back.  Because it's worth to recall (again) that phrase spoken by Massimo Moratti on June 4, 20111 when Leonardo was still on the Inter bench. "Leonardo was very good as a coach, however, I continue to consider him more like a director," said Moratti a few days after winning the Italian Cup against Palermo.  "I think he would be a great director, because he has visions of things and situations and can put those together."  A few days later, Leo went to PSG.  Now a year later, he could return to Inter because he is in the clear.  But in a suit and tie.

Too much pressure This story is not new to anybody but it is taking shape.  The last piece of the puzzle was put together by RMC.fr, which recorded a conversation between Leonardo and PSG president, Nasser El Khelaifi where the Brazilian said that "I would love to work and continue to do so without so much pressure."  In short, PSG are being impatient.  The French press also bemoans of the prolonged absence of Leo who currently would be in Brazil for transfer market reasons.  But everyone is wondering if this is true or not because the rumors about the increasingly large crack between him and PSG continues to spread daily.  And in France, people believe that he would definitely return to Inter also because of the will of his girlfriend Anna Billò.  And the rest, the eventual decision, will be up to the desire of Massimo Moratti.

Offer and thought Certainly, the relationship between Massimo Moratti and Leonardo has always been good despite his sudden escape to France which put the Inter bench in chaos.  So here is the picture of the situation at the moment and according to France-Milan sources: if he is leaving, Leonardo would push for a return to Inter.  Moratti would think about it purely managerial and not for the bench.

Strama  In all of this, meanwhile, Massimo Moratti has another thing to worry about: his coach Andrea Stramaccioni.  "The numbers say that we are now in a better position to fight for the third spot but the arithmetic also depends on the results, so we'll see.  The game in Udine was a really good test, very good by the coach above all, and the players who expressed themselves the way the coach wanted.  Then again, with their quality they knew how to give more."

Motivations and decisions There is a string that ties Strama and the third place together.  "Is his future tied to the preliminaries of the Champions League? That is one way to look at it but it's always a good to set objectives because it's a motivation to do better."  Moratti is reflecting on how to prepare for next season.  With Strama or not.  With Leonardo or not.

Forlan's Situation: Going or Staying

Posted by Filip Karem on April 19, 2012 at 4:10 PM Comments comments (0)

The end of the season is quickly approaching which leads us to the "silly season" where the transfer speculations begin to emerge.  Clubs all over the world want to get stronger, younger and at the same time get rid of some players that sit on big salaries.

This is Inter's worst season in many years.  However, it seems that that fact does not mean anything for the other clubs that are "hunting" our players. For an example, according to Argentinian media there are talks about Forlan leaving for Atletico Mineiro.

Forlan's agent, Daniel Bolotnicoff, spoke about the whole situation at Inter: "There is always a possibility for Diego to return to South America, he has never denied that he doesn't want to go there. But, Inter are his first choice."

Forlan joined Inter this season, but it's been a really bad season for him due to multiple serious injuries.  He has had various problems with his muscles which resulted him being out of action for a good chunk of the season.  And as the management is looking to free up some space in the club, Forlan and other older players might see the exit door. His high salary is also another reason why he could leave.  Not just Forlan, other players have been rumored to be on their way out in the summer.  The media is talking about the departure of Maicon, and replacing him with either a free José Bosingwa or the highly rated Mauricio Isla. There is also the curious case of Chivu who is negotiating contract extension.

There is no doubt it will be a long summer with many changes upon us and who knows what it will bring.

Song, Belhanda, Damiao, M'Vila, Just A Few Names Linked To Inter

INTERNET

The network of Moratti is connected to Song and Belhanda.

The on field director of Arsenal is the favorite over Yann M'Vila.

Yes to the talent of Montpellier.  Destro or Damiao?

Milan - There are dreams and there are needs.  Inter have already been planning for the future for some time: there are players that would fit well in this team as the Nerazzurri are waiting for a new coach (or Stramaccioni to be confirmed for next year).  We are talking about a central midfielder, a winger and a striker.  A central defender will also arrive but for today, we are zooming in on the midfield.

Champions League It is clear that not making to next year's Champions League will deprive Inter a lot of money but also prestige and appeal: no Champions, no party.  Europa League is only a small magnet to attract big name players or young talents.  That said anything can happen with the will to invest as well as the help of some big sales.  Maicon, Sneijder and Pazzini are three that we will be talking a lot about this summer.  For Pazzini, watch out for Lazio as well as PSG if Ancelotti and Leonardo stay.

M'Vila or Song Then there is Maicon and some say that his exit will eventually happen because there is also Isla waiting at the window but there are the dreams, the needs and alternatives.  The first dream is Yann M'Vila: it seems that Arsenal are leading the race with 25 million euros and only the arrival of Blanc at Inter could steer the situation to the favor of Inter.  If the French goes to London, then Inter could ask for Alex Song one that the Gunners are trying to persuade to extend the contract (to 2014) by increasing the salary from 55 thousand pounds 75 pounds a week.  The need for a player like that (ability to direct the field and with quality) is priority.

Lucas and Belhanda These are two different players, but not too much.  For the Brazilian, the cost is at least 25 million and the competition is strong and portentous with Chelsea and Real Madrid.  Then there Younes Belhanda of Montpellier.  He is one of those modern trequartisti, one that is capable of playing behind the two strikers but also wide in a trident.  Belhanda also has a contract until 2014 and certainly cheaper than Lucas at about 9 million.  Also watch out for Jefferson Farfan whose contract is expiring.

Damiao or Destro Leandro Damiao is very appreciated by Inter.  Ronaldo has named him as his true heir and his stock is raising to over 20 million: the possible exit of Pazzini would put Damiao in position to be the vice-Principe.  Then there is Mattia Destro.  He belongs to Genoa and on loan with right to purchase at Siena.  Stramaccioni has known him long and what he saw in Destro a few days ago at the San Siro were potential and personality.  Worthy of Inter.

Balotelli: "Inter? No Intention To Change Shirt At The Moment"

Posted by SacT0wn on April 17, 2012 at 12:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Milan - "Mom, I'm doing an interview with Gazzetta, I'll talk to you later."  Mario on the phone is docile.  Mamma Silvia was waiting for lunch in Brescia but he was still in Milan and she is impatient.  "See you at dinner then, come on.  Come."  These are the last days of relaxation because Manchester is waiting for him tomorrow to resume training after the red card with Arsenal.  And Balotelli knows that he cannot do anything wrong anymore.  Now there is even a story that he wants to consult a psychologist.  "I believe that psychologists are important.  Sometimes, they can be very useful for their help but I don't need it.  No thank you."

Why?  Were you looking for one?
"Why? Every day there is always exaggerated things said about me.  Good thing I do not read the newspapers..."

Referring to the tabloids?
"Not only them.  Last week, Mancini said that I played well and I could give more.  All right.  They wrote that I did not give my maximum efforts.  I want a stop because of some reported news without being verified."

In what sense?

"I ask to be judged for what I do on the field.  I am a shy guy and above all, simple.  I like to have fun with my friends and I try not to bother anyone."

But not always like that.

"I believe that is a lot of exasperation against me.  Sometimes they could be bad when I am with family or friends and someone asks me for an autograph.  They can view me as arrogant but I'm just asking for a little bit of privacy."

How is England?

"Actually I don't go out much.  At most I go out to eat at a Chinese restaurant.  Now this is my passion, I do not eat Italian food anymore."

You don't miss Italy?

"No that is not it.  Playing in the Premier League is an experience that is helping me a lot.  Under all points of view.  Before when i was at Inter, I called my mother to solve every little problems.  Now I have to do it myself."

So is this the growing process?
"First I need to improve as a player.  Especially for the behavior on the field but also from the tactical point of view.  I'm trying to use my left foot also."

Who are you learning it from?
"I am fortunate to be working with Mancini, one of the best coaches in the world, if not the best."

And then?

"My point of reference is Tevez.  I am learning from him to always give my best every day.  Carlitos is a special player.  In this sense, I can say that he is similar to Ibra."

He also had problems with Mancio.

"All I know is that I'm very pleased now that he is back."

If Tevez leaves, where would it be a better fit for him: Inter or Milan?

"To me, he is good at Manchester City."

Have you clarified with Prandelli?

"Of course.  We talked.  He repeated to me to pay attention to the ethics code and I assured him not just about this."

What else?

"Before, I always thought about myself but after the red against Arsenal, I now realize how important it is to worry about my teammates as well.  I cannot leave them in ten men."

In the view of the European Championship, a yellow can have a major impact.

"Exactly.  I will do play with more attention.  I know I have to improve from this point of view."

The foul on Song could have been prevented?

"I will always give the maximum.  But it is also true that there are some fouls that can make the positive things that I have done go unnoticed."

Talk to Prandelli again?

"For me the national team is the most important team in the world.  It is the first club that I would play for.  So I hope to be there in Poland."

What links you so close to the Italian shirt?

"I have always played in it since I was young.  But in these years it is the enthusiasm given to me from the fans.  Even in England, I have gotten a lot of encouragement from the Italians that I have met.  I do not want to disappoint them."

What about with Mancini?

"It is well.  After my last red card, he feared of a max suspension.  But we are clear now and I know he believes in me.  Just like always."

The future?

"Now I only think about winning the title because I am sure that United will have missteps.  Certainly in the match with us, then, who knows."

In Italy, a Milan derby for you is ready.

"But why do you always ask about Inter and Milan? I am at City and have no intention of changing shirt."

That trip to Appiano...

"I want to clarify something.  That day I was passing by by accident.  I stopped to greet my old friends.  Then they forced me to greet Stramaccioni during the press conference."

Moratti always speaks well of you.

"It makes me happy.  He has known me since I was 15.  I thank him for the appreciation but I am now at Manchester City and I see no other possibility."

Same goes for Milan?

"As I said."

Who will win the Scudetto?

"It's all very well balanced but to be honest, I'm not following the league that much.  I have only seen Milan-Juventus."

And how the Champions League will end?

"Barcelona must pay close attention to Chelsea.  Everybody in the semifinals is the strongest so everything is very balanced."

If there is the final of Real-Barcelona, who would you root for?

"Messi is a phenomenon, a genius like Maradona but I have a soft spot for Cristiano Ronaldo because of his physicality and he knows how to play for the team."

Friends among players?

"I often hear from Materazzi with whom I remain on good terms.  I also talk to David Beckham sometimes.  I met him in Los Angeles during our training camp and have been in touch since."

What about with the Azzurri?

"I called Cassano when he made his comeback.  I am very pleased that he may even be there for Euro.  I would be very happy for him.  Fantantonio is class and a champion.  I want to clarify though that I am not posing problems.  I would be happy with Prandelli's decisions."

Giuseppe Rossi was unlucky.

"I am very sorry for him.  We will miss his talent but he is also a great person.  I hope to see him again soon."

The death of Morosini has shocked everyone.

"I am still disbelief.  A bad end for a guy whom I had the pleasure of meeting with the U-21 team.  I was the youngest of the group but he made a great impression.  It is a great sadness.  As like said, events like these make you think."

Do these stories make you afraid going on the field?

"For sure but I just want to return to the field as soon as possible.  To win.  So far in my career, I have been lucky enough to win at least one title per season."

This time with whom?

"With City.  And with the Azzurri.  Why not? But do not ask me to speak more in the coming months.  Now I only think of doing."

Inter Interested In Buying Zarate For Next Season?

Posted by SacT0wn on April 16, 2012 at 11:30 PM Comments comments (0)

INTER WANT BUT AT A DISCOUNT

With a great finale, Moratti will talk with Lazio to re-discuss for a discount figure.

And he tweeted: "First it was hard to play well without attacking."

Milan - No, it is not a joke: right at this moment, Mauro Zarate is almost closer to stay at Inter than going back to Lazio.  The story is this: during the last day of the summer transfer market in 2011, Moratti acquired Maurito on loan for 2.7 million with the right to purchase fixed at 16 million.  A huge figure.  Mauro then scored the decisive goal in Moscow in the Champions League but that was it which resulted a thought that by the end of the year, he would return to Lazio and they all would be friends again like before.  However, there is a raft for his shipwreck and it is called Stramaccioni one that says "show us who you really are."  Zarate's response? Three positive games, one goal, with an average rating of 6.5.  Moral: at the end of the year, Inter will talk to Lazio.  Perhaps to buy him at a lighter and discounted price.

More of this for next season?

Always present Within a month, Zarate has been reborn.  During the early part of the Ranieri era, Zarate was always on the field.  It was almost like throwing darts and then, he was nowhere to be seen.  Disappeared from the stands to the bench.  Then came Stramaccioni and with him, the turning point.  Zarate has played in all three games.  Scored a goal against Genoa and has become an important player in the attack.

Without attack On March 18, he turned 25 years old but it seemed like nothing can change during those days.  But with the loss in Turin against Juventus, Inter sacked Ranieri.  It was the change of sensations - before and after - as Mauro said on Twitter.  Ranieri was sacked on March 26 and then two days later Mauro tweeted, "I will give everything on the field for this team, whether it's 20, 60, or 90 minutes, I will give my best and then at the end we'll see."  On April 1, he scored a goal against Genoa and on April 13, he responded to a friend who wrote to him about his reborn.  And response is an applause for Stramaccioni and an criticism to Ranieri: "Thank you, it was difficult to play well without attacking."  Very clear.

Re-discuss That said, here is the future: Inter are waiting to see if his resurrection is true and then decide what to do about him with the future coach.  Certainly, the combination with Stramaccioni has worked for now and Massimo Moratti is not willing to pay 16 million to redeem his card.  So? Assuming that Reja stays at Lazio coach, Zarate will not return.  Mauro will be back to Rome at the end of the season and Inter and Lazio - if resurrection is real - will again sit at a table.  The most likely hypothesis would be a discussion of a fixed price at 8 million euros.  A few more weeks to know more.
