"Leonardo Is Our New Director"

Posted by SacT0wn on June 23, 2011 at 4:01 PM

Yesterday Massimo Moratti said that Leonardo is still the coach of Inter and today, Inter are officially without a coach.  The president of Paris Saint Germain, Robin Leproux, has confirmed the arrival of the former Inter coach as a new sporting director: "He will be our sporting director like he was in other clubs.  Leonardo knows a lot and has a dimension and a significant career.  I'm sure that he will fit in PSG system and accelerate the development and the strategy of the club.  The owners from Qatar want a club at a top level and are willing to invest a large sum of money.  Other good players will come to PSG."

Marc/Johnny

I agree with what you say Johnny, alot of time between now and the close of the transfer window. If we get that many players, i hope they are of a high calibre. I wish Gasperini all the best and hope he brings Inter many success. But lets proceed with caution and provide what he needs.

Forza Inter forever !

It's true, I'm reading all over that Gasperini has been announced. Hardly an inspiration, but certainly a better choice than Leonardo in my opinion.

Let's hope Johnny is right. 5-7 New young players. I think I saw Branca on vacation in Las Vegas last week. No wonder nothing is getting done.

Marc and Interista, we should not give up our hope until the last day of this market period ends.
Everywhere they are reporting that Gasperini is our new coach and I think it's not the worst thing we could do.
He's not Hiddink, OK, but he could be the one who rebuilds that team. At least I'm sure he knows how to.
So now, let's hope for A LOT, like 5-7 new players for us and that we sell the old guys.
Keep your head up!!

Hey Marc, I have mentioned it previously. We are going backwards. Unless Moratti surprises us, we are looking at a repeat of the 90's ! The team will be returning for pre season training with no coach, no new signings and doubts in some of our current players. We are falling too far behind !

The French press said Moratti came out today and said "Leonardo is still our coach'. It was only then that the above story came out. Leproux pretty much told Moratti to piss off. What the fuck is going on here? Inter are looking like fools in all of this. This is simply depressing.

No Coach
No new players
No invention
No titles
But plenty of heartburn
Feels like 2001 all over again.
