Marcelo Bielsa started from Buenos Aires at 17:05 (local time) on Wednesday with the Air France 417 to destination Paris.

Arrived in Paris at 12:55 but in the capital of France, we lost track of him.

The hunt for the new coach remains open as Moratti has many names in mind: who will go to Inter?

Milan - The mystery of Bielsa has deepened.  What seemed certain to be a yes on Wednesday turned to a no yesterday.  But not only that, because it is unclear on whether the coach have doubts about Inter or vice versa.  All of this with an extra element of suspense.  Yesterday the former Chile coach landed in Paris.  A trip that could very well relate to Inter.  It would have been more convenient for him to land in Madrid if Bilbao were his final destination with Josu Urrutia, a presidential candidate, has been promised Bielsa in recent weeks. 

Mutual concerns and implicationsThe real stumbling block of what Moratti said on Wednesday ("Perhaps you all have created a big fuss, and in the end nothing will happen") arose from the perception that Bielsa could also say no to him as he did with Seville and Roma.  For Inter, there are also doubts within as a portion of the veteran players would like to have a coach with more experience in Serie A and with him, things could turn for the worse.  There was a meeting between Moratti, Branca and Ausilio to lay out the foundations for a new coach.  And in that evening, Moratti removed all the doubts that he could backtrack Leonardo.  He said it in words and with very annoyed tones.  "Negative responses from Bielsa and Ancelotti?  No.  Something will happen in recent days.  Leo is still with Inter but he has other ambitions.  And I need a coach, not a general director."  This betrays the discomfort that Moratti has on the Brazilian who is likely to become a director with PSG.

Contacts So to continue the search, Carlo Ancelotti was contacted but declined for hist past with the Rossoneri.  He has a profile of a coach with technical quality and personality, international experience and able to handle a dressing room full of stars.  There are also the names of Delio Rossi and Gian Piero Gasperini, who have significant experience in Serie A.  Another is Sinisa Mihajlovic who, as a player, had seen and known many things in our football as well as the environment of Inter.  The Serbian has been pre-alerted but he is under contract with Fiorentina and only a direct call from Moratti could persuade Della Valle.

Villas Boas, ideal but expensive The perfect choice would be Andre Villas Boas, the 33 year-old conductor of Porto, a former assistant of Mourinho in this same Inter and now is desired by many clubs after winning the league, cup and the Europa League.  Too bad he has an out clause of 15 million and Porto will not give any discounts.

Alternative choices Inter certainly must tighten the circle shortly.  The final choice will be up to Moratti, who have been represented by Branca and Ausilio Dunga and Zico.  Rather difficult to think about Spalletti but he is in the midst of the Russian league with Zenith.  The curriculum is all there and Moratti will make his choice.

The shortlist of the candidates to coach Inter also include Zico, Dunga, Delio Rossi, Capello, Hiddink and Villas Boas.

Milan Inter have many solutions in these hours.  Sometimes even in contradiction to each other: technical, tactical philosophy and wealth of experience of candidates.  While Marcelo Bielsa arrived in Europe yesterday to make a change for his future, Marco Branca hasn't had a moment off the phone.  With calls going to all latitudes.  The Inter technical director has contacted a lot of coaches and paved the way to Massimo Moratti to decide and solve the puzzle quickly.  The list is indeed large and for a big club like Inter, the race to choose a new coach is far from simple.  There is a real casting going on.

Carlo Ancelotti - 52 years old - Ex Chelsea coach

The call to Carlo Ancelotti arrived at lunchtime yesterday.  The former Chelsea coach is still under contract with that club and has denied Inter could be because of his past with the Rossoneri.

Fabio Capello - 65 years old - England coach

There's temptation to return to Italy for Fabio Capello.  He is a proven solution for Inter but with "Milan's scudetto is the first true one after 2006."  A stab to Moratti...

Carlos Dunga - 47 years old - Ex Brazil coach

His nomination is fascinating.  He was the Brazil coach from 2006 to 2010 winning the Coppa America in 2007 and the Conferderations Cup in 2009 but failed at the World Cup by getting knocked out in the quarterfinals against the Netherlands.

Delio Rossi - 51 years old - Ex Palermo coach

The former coach of Palermo, just got beaten by Inter in the Italian Cup final despite a good showing, yesterday, admitted that he could arrive at the city of Milan.  The doubts of Inter are related to the lack of international experience and dealing with big name players.  But his football is beautiful and carefree.

Andre Villas Boas - 33 years old - Porto coach

The 33 year-old former assistant to Mourinho at this same Inter is the ideal man.  After the treble with Porto (league, Portuguese cup and Europa League), he is liked by many clubs.  He has a 15 million out clause and he is the dream of Inter.

Zico - 58 years old - Ex Flamengo coach

The former Udinese star, in recent years, has had significant experience in club level.  In Europe, he led Fenerbahce (from 2006 to 2008 ), CSKA Moscow (2009) and Olympiacos (2009-2010).  In May 2010, he signed to become Flamengo coach but resigned in October.  Now he is free.  Doesn't lack experience but he is an outsider.

Gian Piero Gasperini - 53 years old - Ex Genoa coach

Gian Piero Gasperini, yesterday, had a heavy sponsor: Enrico Preziosi.  The president of Genoa has assured Moratti of Gasperini's qualities.  His name is on the hit parade.  And he also knows many former Genoa players at Inter like Milito, Motta, Kharja, Ranocchia.

Guus Hiddink - 64 years old - Turkey coach

Here is another with a very thick profile but has a contract with the Turkish Football Federation until June 2012 at 7 million including bonuses.  The Dutchman has been going after by Roman Abramovich and Chelsea.  Impossible.

Sinisa Mihajlovic - 42 years old - Fiorentina coach

International experience as a player he doesn't lack.  He knows the Inter environment and has an iron fist to handle this dressing room.  He is linked with Fiorentina and a call by Moratti could persuade Della Valle.
