Corriere dello Sport: Tevez As Gentleman Agreement For Sanchez And Sahin

Posted on April 12, 2011 at 3:53 AM

Having scored the newest youngster for the youth system in Rodrigo Alborno who has arrived after Luc Castaignos and Marko Livaja, Inter continue to look ahead to the summer transfer market.  As it has been widely reported, Inter are following another young Brazilian, 17 year-old Gabriel Abriel Pires, the midfielder of Resende.  In addition, the Corriere dello Sport reported the news that Inter will make a deal for Carlos Tevez.  All of this were born last week when the Manchester City striker was in Milan.  Since then, rumors continue to emerge: from a meeting with the leaders of Inter, to another meeting in a restaurant later that day.  But it was denied by both parties.

Today, according to the Rome newspaper that Inter have allowed the team of Mancini to go for Alexis Sanchez of Udinese if in return they will have the former Boca Juniors player whom Massimo Moratti has great respect for.  Not only that, to reinforce this understanding, the leaders of Inter have also reached an agreement with the British club for Turkish midfielder Niru Sahin.  So in this case, Tevez would act like a gentleman agreement between the two clubs who don't want to tramp the others' feet with respect to transfer market goals.

In reality, Sahin and Sanchez remain the main objectives of Inter for the next season.  Inter will want them and will do anything to sign both players.

Don't waste money on Tevez.  Sanchez is THE one and Sahin would be a tremendous upgrade for our aging midfield.

First we should try to beat schalke today ..then we should try to win the league or help napoli to win it by letting them beat us ..
THEN COPPA ITALIA IS A PRIORTY THIS SEASON I DONT WANT US TO END UP WITH ZERO TITULI!

then we should fire leonardo and try to bring in jose mourinho or andre villas-boas and then we should sell christian chivu julio cesar and maicon if we get a good offer for them chivu must go! ... sneijder lucio samuel thiago motta lucio cambiasso milito etoo is the base of the team so i dont want us to sell non of them

then we must bring back santon and buy the rest of viviano buy an replacement for chivu a young centre back who together with rannochia can replace samuel and lucio who is aging they are 32-33 maybe... and then i hope with the money we have we can buy sanchez tevez and sahin --- 4-3-3 viviano santon-lucio samuel-nagatumo sahin-thiago motta - sneijder sanchez-etoo-tevez subs :cambiasso zanetti stankovic rannochia pazzini coutinho(1 year out on loan) ...

First - Sahin has been outstanding this year. The guy can flat out play. Sanchez the same.

That deal could be pretty good. I wouldn't mind seeing it done. Nani however, is the type of player only his own clubs' fans can like and they even have their moments. Everyone else (me included) can't stand him.

Changing topic a little bit.

Two questions for yall:

1. Is Nani plus 40 million for Sneijder a good deal?
2. Can it have a similar impact as the Eto'o + 50 for Ibrahimovic did in terms of losing one big peace but gaining several good players in return...

1. Yes. An amazing deal.

2. The Ibra deal worked so well because we were way too heavily Ibra-reliant when he played with us. I do not think we are that reliant on Sneijder, but he is an incredibly effective player both in goals and link-up play, also his free kicks are very good. We could buy 2 Eden Hazards for 40 million though, so it is not like we would be missing something.

40 Million alone is a good deal, thats 25 million profit. If United throw in Nani it'd be the grandest robbery of the century.

I doubt that United would sell their most effective player this season. However if they had a deal lined up for Sanchez or Bale I could see them selling nani.

Yes, we don't need Tevez if he takes lots of money. He's just suicide bomb, its about time to explode. We need wingers so we can have some variation in attacking role. Alexis Sanchez to replace Goran Pandev, and a playmaker to back up Sneijder, just like Paulo Ganso.

NO, Tevez is simply not needed. The guy is a cancer and we have plenty of goalscorers. We need a crafty wide man. Would take Lavezzi over Tevez.
