International Friendly: Inter 2-3 Panathinaikos

vs.

Well, even thought we lost but I'm still pleased with some of our guys.

First off, Maicon.  It would be a big mistake if we let him go.  He is priceless in my book.  He was THE game changer for the 15 minutes that he played, had one assist and could have two more.  Dude doesn't miss a beat.  He runs great, makes great crosses and is the best RB in the world.  Keep him, sell Balotelli and everything would be just fine.

Next up, the youngsters, more specifically Coutinho, Santon, Nwankwo, Mariga were all very good.  Santon after his serious knee injury made two great runs.  Mariga and Nwankwo are our future defensive midfielder when Cambiasso retires.  Coutinho's goal was a thing of beauty.  I think Coutinho and Nwankwo have a great chance to crack into the first team this season.

Zanetti got hurt.  How the fuck that happened?

I totally agree with you guys. I have long said Muntari is the single worst footballer in Serie A. Obinna is only slightly better. Great call on shipping all 4 of those guys out of Milan. We should send them to Roma if possible. LOL Even if they went for free, Inter would be a better side.

Our defence was terrible, cant wait till the actual season starts, these pre season friendlies don't mean anything. i see alot of comments mainly at goal.com saying rafael benitez is terrible or Inter won't win anything cause we lost to panathanikos. That stuff really gets to me, they dont understand its a trial and error process.

We rested quite a few starters as well. I mean just look at City, they spent a ludicrous amount of money and they won only one of their preseason games...

Benitez is trying things out. That's what pre-season for. We were horrible in the 4-4-2 but in a 4-2-3-1 with Coutinho on the left and Stank in the middle, we were much better.

Milito needs to start and play the majority of minutes the next game. He is not in football shape yet and should have scored that header from 5 years away.

Man I wish we could wrap up those scrubs (Burdisso, Obinna, Mancini, Muntari etc...) and ship them somewhere for a fee of 50 million.

God help me, I can't take it anymore... Obinna and Muntari make me want to kill myself, they always did but now and for some reason that feeling is much more intense, I can't watch them play anymore, my blood just keeps boiling.

I just hate them both. Obinna scored twice against City and feels now like a little Eto'o. Muntari is the worst footballplayer I've ever seen at Inter. Just kick his fuckin' ass out of our wonderful jersey. -.- yesterday he really fucked up.

I know how to get revenge, I'll take my own life and make my family sue Obinna and Muntari for millions in damages :) :) :) :)

Is it me or it seems like there were not even 20,000 people at the game...

I was at the game and as far as I can tell you Pana sucked the life out of it. They played a 4-5-1 in a friendly against our youth team. Obi Coutinho, Natalino and Mariga impressed me a lot.

Nwankwo did not impress me, he was late on runs, didn't connect on many passes and lost the ball to much. Besides setting up Eto'o he didn't do much, but Mariga was all over the field. Coutinho was playing on the left and tool a couple of chops to the ankle. I was happy to see Santon make a couple of runs but you could tell he didn't want to risk injury and I'm not certain if Zanetti actually got seriously injured. I have lots of video which I will post on YouTube and after the game giro of players being punished by doing some running. Lol.
