VILLAS BOAS? WHY NOT BIELSA?
Inter to value new partners and continue the casting for the bench: on the list are Blanc, Mazzarri and Prandelli.
Milan - Massimo Moratti has many decisions to make in the coming weeks. And all of them are very important for the future of Inter. It is no secret that the club's majority shareholder is coming to his senses the idea of welcoming new partner to help him turn the page. And it is easy to deduce that the choice of the next coach is also linked to this move. His recent "business trips" were used for important contacts. Yet there is nothing definite but his people are waiting.
Latch Not to forget that Claudio Ranieri still has another year in his contract (and if he made a miracle in the league...), over his shoulders, there have always been two favorites. Andre Villas Boas, just sacked by Abramovich, would be available immediately. But on his name, there are arguments against him. The flop at Chelsea and his clashes with the old guard (Lampard, Essien, Cole) do not play to his favor. And everyone knows that Mourinho has not taken the side of his young Portuguese colleague with whom, Mou has not gotten along with for some time. And to think that the British bookmakers quote his passage to Inter at 1.90, a significant advantage over rivals. The closest is Laurent Blanc (at 5.0), and Moratti also admires his old favorite. But the French coach on the eve of the Euro, is in a delicate situation with his federation. There is the risk that they will force him to wait until the end of the continental competition to decide on his future. And Inter are oriented to make a decision as soon as possible. Another candidate is Cesare Prandelli: he is liked at Inter thanks to his willingness to work with younger players and that is probably the most important aspect that the club must work on for the future. But right now, it is just a thought. Before we go any further, the club should check at all levels in order to avoid problems with all federations.

Coaches in Moratti era.
Idea Bielsa Then there are the considerations for Marcelo Bielsa. Moratti took a shot at him before Leonardo made his move to PSG, but the Argentinian coach had already committed with Athletic Bilbao and the club was forced to give up. In these months, the guru of Rosario is doing very well in Spain. The latest feat at Old Trafford (3-2) in Europa League is the ultimate stamp of an excellent season. That is why his name is the consensus between Moratti and his collaborators.
Option Mazzarri Then there is the coach of Napoli. The statements on Friday in Verona were emblematic: Moratti has spent important words for the Napoli coach. Appreciation is evident like the respect for the strategies of De Laurentiis. Mazzarri is under contract for another year and the Azzurri president has already said that he would not let Mazzarri go. This leads Inter to a very cautious attitude, always considering the excellent relationship between the two clubs. In this uncertain situation, then, there was some interest in Francesco Guidolin, the most tested Italian coach. But again, he is busy with Udinese. Meanwhile the fans are gathering signatures for Zeman but he is only a utopia.

Chainsaw says...
AVB - Undecided on him. A very likely option, as he is free, young, been at Inter before, had huge success with Porto, but also his failure at Chelsea needs to be considered. He showed at Chelsea that he has no problem benching the old guards. This can be a good but at the same time bad thing, as he is likely to experience the worse situation at Inter. It can be a risky move but you always needs to take risks when about to make big decisions.
Blanc - Same as AVB. I have no preference between these two. Blanc's record as the coach has no superiority over AVB's. Even if it's about the the records I will take AVB over Blanc.
Mazzari - Good coach, but plays with 3 in the back. Thinking of the recent coach we just sacked with the same playstyle as Mazzari's, Moratti better be more careful about approaching Mazzari.
Bielsa - No. Good if you're going to play for 3rd, 4th places (At tops!) but not good enough to fight for the titles. I believe he will crack under the pressure that he gets at Inter.
Prandelli - My favorite Italian coach. Always wanted him at Inter. But it's an unlikely case to happen unless we see Italia chocking so badly in Euro 2012 which I still see unlikely. My #1 choice out of that list, but yet the most unlikely one to happen.
