Imminent Agreement Between AVB and Inter?

INTER, HE'S FREE

Villas Boas has been fired.  Chelsea to Di Matteo.

At the end of season, they will focus on Guardiola or on the return of Mourinho.

Moratti has alerted Stramaccioni but Ranieri resists.

The Primavera coach could become the caretaker as Inter are waiting for the yes from Villas Boas.

London - Andre Villas Boas from yesterday is free for Inter.  Chelsea fired him in his own office just after the morning training session which was for the trip tomorrow night in Birmingham for the fifth round of the FA Cup.  Roman Abramovic, Ron Gourlay and Eugene Tenenbaum, the owner, CEO and director of Chelsea, gathered together in Cobhan to discuss the future of AVB.  All three also met with AVB although that meeting did not last that long.  From today, the Portuguese coach is free to seek a club.  He has gone home and will take some time to reflect.  He had guided Chelsea for 257 days: June 22, 2011 contract was signed and March 4, 2012 was the dismissal.  Between those dates, it was an interesting season with the first misstep at Old Trafford against Manchester United.  It was a good October for his Chelsea however but the K.O. against QPR on October 23, 2011 kind of kicked off the collapse.  The revolt of the old guard in Lampard, Cole and Essien was the decisive pickaxe.  Villas Boas knows that Inter, where he worked as Mourinho's assistant coach from 2008 to 2009, are thinking about him.  In England, news of an imminent agreement between the Portuguese and the Nerazzurri has been circulating over the past few hours.  AVB, for his part, has already paved the way: "Inter are one of the most prestigious clubs in the world.  For me, it is an honor to be considered at a club like Inter."  That was said last February 25 after the 3-0 against Bolton.  Does he need to say more?

Caretaker The late reaction by Inter after the 70 minutes could save Claudio Ranieri's bench for now.  Massimo Moratti yesterday was out of the country for business and he should return to Milan in these hours: we must wait for a final round of consultations with the directors present at the stadium yesterday but everything suggests that the Inter president will not take drastic action.  But if the pride from yesterday is not enough, then the club would eventually go to the Primavera coach, Andrea Stramaccioni, who has been alerted for several days.

I (almost) kinda dont care who ends up as the new coach, but i just wanna see consistent solid football, and the coach to actually get to hang around for a while, i'm over this constant coach swap, not sayin i want a shit coach for 5 years, just a transition done in the right way get... but yeah i wouldn't complain if AVB turns up....

I know that he wasn't successful at chelsea but i really like his style of play, fluid 4-3-3 and i think he is a type of coach who would play youngsters like poll, alvarez etc.
Attacking 4-3-3:

------------------JC
--Faraoni--Lucio--Juan--Nagatomo
------------------Poli-------------------
--------Guarin---------Sneijder-----
?Forlan----------------------Alvarez
------------------Milito----------------
