Possible Candidates To Be The Next Inter Coach

Posted by SacT0wn on February 24, 2012 at 11:40 PM

THE FUTURE IS WIDE OPEN

VILLAS BOAS OPENS THE LIST

Inter to look around: Guardiola a dream, Blanc is an option.

But they are also on course for Capello, Zeman and Bielsa.

  • Pep Guardiola - Barca coach: Pep is a dream, more or less forbidden: still has not renewed with Barcelona.
  • Laurent Blanc - France coach: Laurent Blanc will be freed by from the French national team in June.
  • Fabio Capello - Former England coach: Fabio Capello has already declared that he would not return to Italy and coach: who knows...
  • Zdenek Zeman - Pescara coach: Zeman has always been liked by Moratti: he would be a "good" choice.
  • Marcelo Bielsa - Atletico Bilbao coach: Moratti did try to look for him after Leonardo but he had already given his word to the Spanish club.

Milan - Next season will bring a great revival for a big club like Inter and everything revolves, of course, around the coaching position.  Claudio Ranieri has another season in his contract but his future seems to have already been written.  This explains why Inter are looking around the world for a coach that capable of leading the team into the future.  So the search has begun.  There is no name in pole position but there are many candidates: with their own pros and cons.

New entry The feeling with Andre Villas Boas goes all the way back to last summer.  Massimo Moratti was at one time focusing on him for post Leonardo but he backed out due to the request of a payment of 15 million to free AVB from Porto.  Now the young Portuguese coach is in some bad waters at Chelsea.  His position on the bench is seriously at risk.  Logically, then, we return to talk about Inter and the young student of Mourinho could be a possibility.

The option The most affordable on paper is Laurent Blanc.  Moratti has always admired him and thought of him in the past.  And now, the France manager has put doubts on the contract extension with the French federation.

The suggestion The tactical ideas of Zdenek Zeman has always fascinated the president of Inter.  And now with uncertainties that Inter have at the coaching position, he is also in the running.

The dream If Pep Guardiola really decided to leave Barcelona, Moratti would be willing to build him the golden bridges.  The appreciation is mutual and has been so for a while.  It should also be said tat the coach is also attracted to the Premier League.  Especially Chelsea, but also Manchester City are ready to ambush.  And this severe competition has forced the Nerazzurri to keep their feet on the ground thinking of other alternatives.

Strong man He resigned from the English Federation a few weeks back.  Fabio Capello has been monitored for years by the Nerazzurri with many agreements collapsed at the last moment.  Don Fabio is oriented to continue his career abroad but there is still time to convince him to exclude this solution.  Capello is the man that has the courage to open new cycles.

The strategy The contact in the summer with Marcelo Bielsa did not succeed because he did not want to breach the faith of Atletico Bilbao.  And the Chilean coach in Spain is confirming his status of a great coach.  So his return to the scene is an option knowing that the South American colony is always at Appiano Gentile.

If Moratti gets some reinforcements.....

Blanc might be available and would be a good fit.
Guardiola won't be available
Bielsa is a great coach, probably not available
Zeman always did well in Serie A
Capello is a real winner. He could make it work

Yes to Blanc if he can bring Yann M'vila to INTER with him.. or Gurdiola, then he can bring some talent from Barca with him.. the other ones NO!.. then i rather will take a guy like Zenga, he's allways been waiting for a chance to coach our team.. maybe it will be a good desiscion to give him a shot..
