Optimism for Walter Samuel. 4-4-1-1 Against Marseille?

Posted by SacT0wn on February 19, 2012 at 12:50 AM

Walter Samuel has returned training in group after a strain which occurred on February 5 against Roma and as a result, he has increased the hope of being there on the field against Marseille on Wednesday.  With his teammates was also Stankovic who missed Bologna due to a fever.  Specific work, however, was for Milito (he also got a fever last week) but the Prince will play in this game.  Due to a knee problem, Alvarez was limited to some gym work.  It is probable that against the French, Ranieri will focused on the 4-4-1-1 with Nagatomo in a more advanced position in the midfield.

Couldn't agree more with Chainsaw. This is going to be awful.
In my opinion, Ranieri is a problem. Even when we had that winning streak, our game was horrible and we didn't have any clear idea of what to do to score.
@D-Sky I think we could play much more offensively than we do with Ranieri. What about a
Cesar - Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, Zanetti - Cambiasso, Poli/Palombo/Zanetti (in that case Naga on the left) - Forlan, Sneijder, Zarate - Milito?

Well what do u expect, at the moment Inter dont have squad who have ability to go for attacking formation anyway.

8 defensive players plus out of form Sneijder and Milito. I think I will be happy if we only lost by 1 goal.

Marc says...
Inter can't score a goal so Ranieri's answer is to play even more defensively. Brilliant.
