A rectus femoris strain in his right thigh is the result of the tests for Wesley Sneijder who on Tuesday left the field early during the match against Marseille for a physical problem. With this injury, Wesley Sneijder seems certain that he will miss the game against Atalanta with the hopes that he can recover on time for the trip to Turin against Juventus. However, a muscle problem is the type of injury that should not be forced.
Without Sneijder, it is very likely that Ranieri will return to his beloved 4-4-2. In another news from Appiano Gentile, Fredy Guarin continues to work in group but it is difficult that he will be available on Sunday.
