Daily Transfer Rumors - Jan. 25 - Motta's Agent: "Against Napoli Could Be The Last Game With Inter"

INTER - COMING AND GOING

LEO: "WE ARE INTERESTED IN MOTTA."  BUT RANIERI IS OPPOSED

INTER, PLAN B.  AMONG THE NAMES ON THE WAITING LIST THERE'S ALSO VELOSO

The transfer market man of PSG has came out in the open.

Inter coach: "For me, he must stay here."

There is the Portuguese (Veloso) but also Sahin and the Brazilian Oscar.

Tomorrow meeting between Genoa and Inter.

Zarate: staying or leaving?

Appiano Gentile - "There are possibilities for Thiago Motta but for now there is no nothing factual or concrete yet."  That is Leonardo de Araujo who after unsuccessful negotiations for Pato and Tevez (first was almost yes, second was a straight up no) has officially advertised what we have known for the last few days: Paris wants Thiago Motta and Motta wants Paris but between them there is a sea which his called Inter.  Inter do not want to give up the player who, for them, is deemed essential and irreplaceable without: a) the appropriate economic compensation (more than 10 million) and b) at least one replacement in hand.

All was born last summer? So again Leonardo has come out in the open and declared the voices of the past few days.  Voices that arise both from Motta's words at the Oscar ("I don't know if I will stay") and from a hypothesis that didn't happen last summer and still hasn't happened: with an expiring contract, Thiago Motta has been waiting for a renewal for quite some time now, a renewal that was never proposed by Inter.  This decision by Inter has created some frictions between the two parties despite the fact that that Thiago was very pleased by the good words from Ranieri on him.

Ranieri expects Even Moratti has described him as untouchable, and one of the heroes that "made history at Inter."  Yesterday, the number one Interista added: "The statements of Thiago? I don't have any information yet because I was outside of Milan.  If there will be news soon? I don't think so. Do we expect Thiago to leave Inter? Why should we?"  Then there is Claudio Ranieri - who has often referred to Motta as a player of incalculable value - who said: "I think he will stay here and that's what we all hope."  Ranieri strongly opposes the sale and that is certain or at least he needs someone that can replace him.  Will it be easy? Will he win? It's all happening before us.

Tug of war Because in the meantime, in Paris, they continue considering that this deal is imminent, sources close to the Qatari insist a three-year deal for the player, 4.5 million per season and 10 million to Inter plus 3 million in bonuses.  Gigantic figures.  But as of last night, stil no email arrived at the inbox of Inter.  "It will arrive," rumors from Paris.  It's a tug of war in the friendship between Moratti and Leonardo: either they will meet soon or they'll remain friends like before and talk about this in June.

Miguel Veloso and Zarate Branca and Ausilio are working on post-Motta and Miguel Veloso from Genoa is on the list.  This is the name that is now coming back.  Maybe because in many ways, he resembles Thiago Motta, because in the past this name was at one time linked with Inter, or because rumors from Portugal will not rule out this hypothesis.  For Inter, they are expecting a concrete proposal from Paris before heading for a replacement.  And if this proposal comes, Inter will go on the counterattack.  There will be a meeting with Genoa tomorrow to define the exchange of loans between Muntari and Kucka and perhaps Miguel Veloso's name could come up in the discussion according to rumors.  This same player is also in demand in Russia and England.  Another name that could come up in the discussion between Inter and Genoa is Zarate but this will only happen if one of Genoa strikers (Jankovic perhaps) is leaving.

The names and why From Portugal, as previously stated, there are voices regarding Veloso but also those that related to Fernando and Guarin: the Colombian is further and further away from Juve but the truth is that Ranieri and Inter are not really convinced either.  Some other same names have appeared again from Sahin, Oscar to Fernando and Romulo.  Among these names, Veloso seems to stand out because of the good relationship between Inter and Genoa while Ranieri appreciates those players who already know Serie A.

Casemiro and Lucas From Brazil, here is a name that seems to be gone and now has reappeared: Casemiro.  He was deemed as not for sale by Sao Paulo but interested in him there are Genoa, Lazio and recently Villarreal.  In the meantime, Zaragoza are interested in Castaignos but Inter, right now, are not willing to give him away after refusing Liverpool.  Sao Paulo continue searching for Nilmar: will this be the green light for Lucas? Hard but who knows.  Lastly, Samuel is going to renew until 2014.

Lucas's agent: "There is nothing definitive with Inter for next summer and the information that I have read is incorrect. Lucas can not negotiate with Inter without the permission from Sao Paulo.  On our part, there is no preference for any club.  With Branca, there was no meeting to discuss Lucas's transfer to Inter I can guarantee you that.  There is a release clause of 80 million and we know it. Sao Paulo have not expressed its interest in selling Lucas but I can tell you that there is a realistic offer from Chelsea for 35 million.  What I can say at this time is that Lucas has no desire to leave Sao Paulo so we have not started any discussions with any clubs. Therefore, I assure you that the boy will stay at Sao Paulo until the summer."

Thiago Motta's agent: "PSG have asked for the availability of him. Today could be the last game of Thiago Motta with Inter. I believe that Inter have made a mistake, not so much for not renewing the contract of Thiago but there's no consideration on their part despite him being one of the most important players of the team. You can not think of selling a player who is at the end of his contract so now Inter will have to decide to sell, or to keep in this team until the expiration of the contract. Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and PSG are a club that trying to build a team that is the strongest in the world so for Motta, I don't see why he would be against this transfer."

Sky: Inter have no intention of selling Motta because Inter cannot afford his departure without a viable alternative. A proper name is still Sahin of Real Madrid. But getting him on loan does not appear feasible and it would require a different formula (maybe with an obligation to buy). That is why Moratti and his staff would only consider an indecent offer for Thiago Motta from PSG which has not arrived. Motta has already agreed personal terms PSG and now it's up to the two clubs.

Julian Drexler, Schalke 04 young midfielder: "My agent has told me that Inter have expressed interest. This is a wonderful feeling and I feel honored. But my heart is at Schalke and I see no room for other clubs at the moment. No wonder why I signed with this club until 2016."

Luca Marchetti, Sky: "If Inter can convince Real to give Sahin up, then they would open PSG doors. Otherwise, Motta is not going anywhere."

Marko Marin's agent: "Marin will at Werder until June. And now he is in Bremen training to recover from injury."

Mourinho rely more on Diara than Sahin. And there is more chance of getting Sahin than Diara. He will be cheaper, younger and a better option than Diara too anyway. Sell Motta and get Sahin on loan. Diara is more of a defensive player than anything else and Inter already has enough of those. Besides he commits lots of fouls. He gets dozens of yellow and red cards in Serie A. Same story goes to Guarin. Either get Sahin or M'Vila. I buy M'Vila right now and get Sahin on loan.

sahin or lass diarra are better options than motta considering their age, so yes I would rather have them than motta even if motta may be the better player right now

If Motta leaves, I wish would make a move for Lassana Diarra. The guy is a great player and rarely gets playing time with Real Madrid.

Thinking Inter will get Sahin is pure fantasy though. And now I read that Inter are done with pursuing Tevez. This isn't the same Moratti I am used to.
