Stramaccioni To Start Guarin In His Second Test As Inter Coach?

FREDY GUARIN FROM 1ST MINUTE.

Appiano Gentile - Everything revolves around Fredy Guarin.  And, in part, also around Giampaolo Pazzini.

Fredy candidate After impressing the fans in just a few minutes against Genoa, the Colombian is a candidate to start from the very beginning in the match against Cagliari which is scheduled for Saturday in Trieste.  Guarin - who today will meet the press - has forgotten the physical problem (calf) and is now in the race with Poli for a spot in the starting lineup.  If he is indeed starting on Saturday, then this would be the trio in the midfield (4-3-3): Guarin-Stankovic-Cambiasso.  Unless Poli is going to take the place of the Argentinean.

Pazzo and Milito In front there is also another battle: Stramaccioni could give Pazzini a chance instead of Milito but at the moment this hypothesis is very difficult because Il Principe has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season and is in exceptional form.  On the wings, confirmation for Zarate and Forlan.  Yesterday, after a goal with Primavera against Padova, Luc Castaignos suffered a muscle discomfort: in the next few hours we will know if he can receive a call-up for Saturday.

Possible eleven With Julio Cesar and Lucio suspended, Castellazzi and Ranocchia are their replacements.  Sneijder and Maicon are still unavailable but there is Ricky Alvarez who could be ready for Trieste.  For him, yesterday, was a personal warm-up session after he participated with the group on Tuesday.     There are two ways where he could be used for Saturday: as a winger or as a midfielder in a 4-3-3.  At this point, Andrea Stramaciconi could field Inter like this: Castellazzi, Zanetti, Ranocchia, Samuel, Chivu or Nagatomo; Guarin or Poli, Stankovic, Cambiasso; Zarate, Milito, Forlan.  Those one yellow card away from suspension are Sneijder, Samuel and Poli.
