Eto'o Of Steel

THE RACE TO 38 GOALS CONTINUES

Abductors are OK, against Catania the bomber will be there.

And Leonardo is thinking about Walter Samuel as a starter.

Milan - At one point, when the ball was off the field in a vibrant Fuorigrotta, Samuel Eto'o was seen stretching.  Then he gave a nod to the bench which indicated a mini alarm and called for Leonardo to put in Pazzini.  From that time (15th minute in the second half), the ball remained in play for almost two full minutes: then Dossena put it out as Eto'o thanked him.  Abductors at risk?  Perhaps the goal scoring record?  No.  Samuel's abductor will be monitored starting tomorrow onwards but, as expected, he will be there against Catania.  To continue the race to the record.

All for him Yes, Samuel Eto'o is in place so that, unless unexpected problems occur, he will resume the race with two objectives in mind: with the current share of 35 goals of the season, the Lion King will try to break through the wall of 36 goals scored with Barcelona in the 2008-2009 season and, above all, to get a bit of these three gurus in goals: Angelillo, Nordahl, and Meazza which closed their season by producing 38 goals.  For Samuel, there are two games remaining against Palermo and Catania: Inter will work for him knowing that he is close to this record.

Standing ovation? And almost another record for another Samuel, Walter the Argentinian.  "I was confident," he said after his return to the field against Napoli.  "After the operation I spoke with Dr. Benazzo and Professor Combi and they said I need to avoid hasty return to the field but at the same time they knew that I can do it.  Now I am happy."  The Inter medical staff is convinced that a recovery like this has only happened once in the past, when Ronaldo recovered after the knee injury in 2000.  Willpower, sweat, silence, work and hope.  "He was very emotional," said a voice in the dressing room.  He wil probably be even more excited on Sunday at the San Siro.  Leonardo is thinking of making him a starter in Inter-Catania because he can get a standing ovation when Leo subs him out at some point in the game.  A see you later for next year.
