Champions League: Schalke 2-1 Inter

Posted on April 13, 2011 at 4:36 PM

vs.

Ahh, it's over.  No more waking up in the middle of the night praying for a miracle.  This team needs new blood.  Listing the useless players right now would be pointless.  We need an overhaul.  I'm talking about Genoa type of changes.  No more players that don't want to be here or they are not motivated to play for this team.  Moratti, it's your turn to prove that you are the best president in the world of football.

FORZA INTER.

Ye she did say that, but that was immediately after signing an extension for the coming season. One thing I know about Guardiola, he definitely will not ask to skip out on his contract to join another club. The way the team operates right now gives him much power even with one year contracts. The club President is a huge douchebag, and this is the only way Guardiola can exert influence on decisions the will affect him. If he doesn't like what's going on, he'll leave. But he's most definitely not available this summer.

Sac here, Marc, but he did say something like "my time at Barca is coming to an end" a couple of weeks ago so the media speculates that he could be one of the candidates for the job.

What's with all of the Guardiola talk? It's simply ridiculous. He just signed an extension no more than a month ago to continue coaching Barca through at least next season and Barca are on track for treble once again. I believe Guardiola will eventually coach in Italia, but certainly not now. Give me Walter Mazzarri or Rudi Garcia. That would be a coup!

Never say never. You haven't seen him in action elsewhere. If Mourinho succeeded with winning the treble (something no one would ever believed before the season), then maybe Guardiola can work magic as well.

I honestly don't think we have much to lose. And if someone need creativity and offensive football, it's Inter right now.

Only way Guardiola works is if he brings his magical midgets with him. We do not have the players to play Guardiola style football. Great manager don't get me wrong, but he's getting great results with one of the best club sides in modern history.

No more Leo, please God. The guy doesn't know tactics. And please, I never wanna see Mancini again in Inter.

Guardiola or Villas Boas. Only options if we wanna win something again.

sincerely, there's noone better than leo to train us in 2011/12.
guardiola and boas are just rumours, and a move to inter NOW would be way too fast for them.
i guess for inter too. leo should stay, build a new inter and get a new chance. if it doesn't work,
we replace him. but the boy definitely needs more time to create his vision of inter.

I'm on the side with Leo stay. He just need an assistant who have experience and also a great tactician. Or maybe he may become an assistant to a great coach just like Hiddink, Capello, etc. We still need Leo, to open the gates of wonderkids from Brazil. Look at Pato, Thiago Silva, Kaka at milan. We need that talents too. All I hope that Leo will stay at Inter, no matter what position he's at. For this remaining season, please get well soon, Walter "the wall" Samuel !! Forza La Beneamata !!

It seems pretty clear to me that this squad is too old. They were already getting older when they won the treble, and Moratti chose not to add anyone. Now they have added a couple of players but there is still a serious rejuvination needed for this squad. A new coach will make no difference unless younger players are brought in. It is inpossible to compete on three fronts with the squad as is. I love Wesley, but if Man United come with an Ibra type offer, I say jump on it. Oh and if Van Gaal comes, I will shoot myself.

inter definitely need a coach who knows how to attack as well as defend. look at barcelona, they are playing at the highest level, not only lethal at front, but also a brick wall at the back. willingness to learn from others will make us grow even stronger. by this hypothesis then guardiola deserves my vote because he knows how to make a really good team (a good motivator also) despite the small chance of him coaching our team. and as SacTown said before, inter also need a radical change for its squad member. regeneration is something inevitable. santon. andreolli/mertesacker, sahin, sanchez, ganso will definitely work just fine. no room for tevez i guess. although guardiola would prefer him than eto'o (in case pep will be our head coach), but i think tevez will cost mountain of money (much enough to bring sanchez+sahin).

lastly, sorry for leonardo which is a great coach actually but not good enough to lead inter's armada.
all i hope for now is that inter will fight back until the end of the season, finish in the best possible way, and to show the world that inter deserves all the badges on their shirt which were won not just by coincidence.

FORZA LA BENEAMATA

INTER PER SEMPRE

Boas wants to stay with Porto another year, but if he leaves he wants the EPL.
Guardiola will stay with Barca for another year, he will not come to Inter.

Van Gaal is a new rumor...and Mancini again!!! NOOO!!!

André Villas Boas is the one for me. He will be top class in a couple of years, and would be a really good choice for us and our future.

I'm really against having Leo another season.

Guardiola or Villas Boas for me. I'd love Guardiola, but I'd be hard. I don't think he'd go to Inter after so many years with Barca. He will take a long vacation when he quits Barca, and then he'll probably go to Chelsea or something.

Maybe I'm an optimist. I look at managers like Ferguson and Wenger who were given time to build up something great. I'd love to see us show some patience and build something that could last, instead of chopping things up every year or two.

Changes need to be made. Hope Leo gets a chance to prove his skeptics wrong.

Who is there to choose from honestly? What Leo needs is an excellent assistant, someone to help him plug up the weakness in his coaching. I don't think we should give up on him.

Choosing a good coach who is a motivator as well as a tactician is tough. It's hard to choose a girl who has both face and body. YEAHHHHHH. I'm supposed to be sad but I think I'm gonna be OK.

Nagatomo excellent. He's made that Left back slot his as far as I'm concerned.

We had a tactician, his name was Benitez...and he was shit. What Inter need is someone to aide Leo and work with him, and to outline a certain direction to move forward into.
